Step inside, and you’ll discover a cozy, intimate back-room bar: a small counter with stools, an oyster shucking station, a warm wood stove crackling in the corner, and a handful of tables. It’s unpretentious, welcoming, and full of that authentic Southern Maryland charm. This hidden oasis comes alive every Friday (and only Fridays) during the colder months, from 5 to 7 pm for Oyster Happy Hour. Two glorious hours to savor ultra-fresh oysters, ice-cold beer, and live music in an atmosphere that’s pure relaxation.

Behind the bar, you’ll often find Ms. Nancy pouring drinks with a smile. Owner-operator Mr. Willie tends to the roasted oysters, while Mr. Jay expertly shucks them fresh. The stars of the show are the farm-raised oysters striaght from the Hollywood Oyster Company and pulled right out of the Patuxent River just down the road. We’re talking Hollywood and Sweet Jesus varieties: with a sweet, complex flavor profile featuring hints of minerality, moss, and a clean finish. Enjoy them raw on the half-shell or roasted to perfection – either way, they’re unforgettable.Space is limited, so arrive early to snag a seat.
