A Marylander for nearly six decades, Lewie’s roots run saltwater deep. From Calvert County to St. Mary’s County and beyond, he has built his life and career around the people, places, and waters that make Maryland home.
Growing up in Southern Maryland on Lewis Creek, Lewie spent his days boating, crabbing, fishing, and skiing at Ski Beach and along the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. Summers during his youth and college years often drew him east to Ocean City, where the salt air and coastal energy became part of who he is.
After graduating from Towson University in Baltimore, Lewie returned to the water—managing a Solomons Island waterfront restaurant perched over the Patuxent River (yes, he actually commuted by boat). That experience led to owning a small restaurant and marina on Back Creek, deepening his connection to the community and the unique needs of waterfront property owners.
For the past decade, he has split his summers between the familiar waters of Southern Maryland and the “reel” excitement of Ocean City, the White Marlin Capital of the World. Lewie lives and breathes the Maryland waterfront lifestyle that has shaped his entire life.
When he’s not negotiating contracts, Lewie is likely found where he’s most at home, on the water. He has been happily married to his rockstar wife for 28 years, and together they’ve raised two amazing kids to form “Team Aldridge.”
A lifelong boater and devoted Miami Hurricanes fan, Lewie is a lover of live music and the coastal rhythm of the Chesapeake Bay lifestyle. He’s also an unapologetic Orange Crush and seafood snob—if it’s not fresh-squeezed or just-caught, it’s not worth his time or hard-earned money (and it’s not worth yours, either).
